House in Bottle

I got this in an antique/coffeehouse in Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii last year. The entire bottle is 9-1/2" long (the section shown here is about 5" wide), 4" high, 3" wide; the neck, through which all of this had to fit, is about 1" wide. How they ever did this is beyond me. Build it in collapsed form, slide in and pull erect? There are two human figures, a couple of baskets, a palm tree, and some fencing. Wonder of wonders!

This is a tiny home they built in 10 days on an old Dodge flatbed truck in Humboldt County, California.

Glad you've recovered from the initial shock of the wrist injury and seen sense to continue!

Thought you might appreciate a different wooden structure. It's a Flitzer Z1S, built with sitka spruce and birch ply (mostly 1mm). Constructed over around 10 years from plans, it flew for the first time at the end of August. Cruise is 100 mph and she's fully aerobatic. See YouTube G-ECVZ first flight and Z1S flight.

Over the years we've sent prison inmates any books they ask for. 20 years ago, we were sending out a lot of weight training books. These days, they're asking for building books.*

Yesterday this package arrived and it was a delight. The spoon is really nice. Handcrafted, not made in China.
